Maximo Borisonik (b. 1997; Los Angeles, CA) is a photographer based in New York City.
His photos aim to record the unseen parts of rapidly changing urban centers, often using themes of counterculture, family, segregation, hardship, danger, and make-believe.
He works in the traditions of Chris Killip, Anthony Hernandez, Mary Ellen Mark, Jeff Mermelstein, and the New York School of Photography.
